Container C-100

100 litres container for plastic granules and additives

Digicolor offers a wide range of bulk containers. Digicolor’s type C-100 containers are characterized by the fact that all components and surfaces in contact with granules are made of stainless steel.

This container size is particularly suitable for storing smaller quantities of granules and masterbatch. Due to its compact design and small footprint of approx. 490 mm x 505 mm, this stainless steel container can be integrated into almost any machine workstation.

A suction nozzle is installed at the pellet outlet of the stainless steel container. This connection piece enables the trouble-free connection of a granulate conveying system or individual conveying device. This is then used for automatic feeding of the metering hoppers or material separators or machine hoppers on the processing machine. Optionally, the granules or masterbatches can be removed manually.

In addition, this 100-liter container can be equipped with rollers. In this way, a mobile material container is obtained that can be used flexibly at a wide variety of locations in plastics processing. A stainless steel filling grid supports the user when granulate containers, e.g. bags or granulate sacks, have to be placed on or drained from the container. By means of a standard hinged lid, the container can be easily locked.

Digicolor containers of type C-100 can be used to set up logistics for the supply of granules to plastics processing plants. These containers are suitable as daily containers for low material throughputs. In addition, these stainless steel containers can be used for central stockpiling of masterbatch or additives. C-100 containers are also suitable for storing granules and additives next to volumetric or gravimetric metering stations.
