Debagging Stations

Digicolor’s debagging stations provide a user-friendly solution to conveniently and easily transfer plastic pellet bags into the converting process. These specially equipped granulate containers, are consistently made of stainless steel. As a result plastic granules do not come into contact with materials other than stainless steel at any point. Additionally a big filling grid helps users easily pour pellets into a container from a comfortable height. A large stainless steel hinged lid, equipped with gas struts, ensures that the material container can be opened and closed conveniently and easily.

These sack feeding stations are available in two sizes: The SAS-230 sack feeding station offers a filling volume of 230 liters with a footprint of 850 mm x 598 mm (with rollers). The SAS-380 bag loading station, with a footprint of 1020 x 1020 mm, offers a volume of 380 liters. Both container sizes are suitable for use as side bins next to the processing machine or as a central granule feeding station.

One or more suction nozzles with a connection diameter of 40 mm or 50 mm can be installed at the granulate outlet of each bag feed station. These nozzles allow easy connection of a pellet conveying system or single conveying device. The connection spigot enables automatic feeding of metering hoppers, material separators, and machine hoppers on processing machines.

Digicolor bag feeding stations set up central granulate supply in plastics plants, including suitable logistics. In combination with granulate conveying systems, complete material supply systems for injection molding or extrusion plants can be realized. In addition, these material containers are used for storage of virgin and recycled pellets in the immediate vicinity of the pellet dryers and gravimetric metering systems. Suitable pellet conveying stations or conveyors are used to feed the drying systems and dosing stations from the pellet containers before the pellets are finally transported to the processing machines.
