The modular design of Drywell central dryers guarantees two decisive advantages: Flexibility and future-proofing in the drying of plastic granules. This is because the Drywell central drying system allows the construction of individual, central drying units which can be supplemented, adapted or set up in other formations at any time. This does not require any modification of the dry air piping. The Drywell central drying system from Digicolor can thus be used flexibly in the production of free-flowing plastic granules.
If required, drying capacity can be removed from the Digicolor modular dryer and used as an auxiliary dryer, for example. Conversely, the Drywell central dryer can also be quickly and easily added to at any time.
All drying hoppers of Digicolors’ central dryers are made of high quality stainless steel. These hoppers are reliable and durable in rough everyday industrial use. Thick-walled thermal insulation, which also includes the cone area of the hopper – where the granules are extracted – minimizes possible heat losses. The unique design of the granulate hoppers contributes to the convincing energy efficiency of the drying systems. Our central dryers and drying systems are easy and quick to clean.
Plastic pellets are reliably kept dry in Drywell dry air dryers from Digicolor. The core of the drying processes is the extremely energy-saving Drywell adsorption honeycomb principle, which ensures an adjustable, constant dew point of the drying air. This makes dry air drying an easily controllable process with which tight residual moisture tolerances in particular can be maintained.

Existing or old dry air dryers can also be optimized and modernized with the modular Drywell central drying system. Energy management systems, such as according to DIN EN 50001, are thereby supported. Significant energy savings and process improvements are demonstrably achievable.
