In plastics processing, there are some points in the pellet supply lines where granulate conveying pipes need to be connected to conveying hoses. For this purpose, Digicolor offers unique quick couplings to connect these points as easily and user-friendly as possible. In Digicolor’s pipe-shell connectors, all surfaces in contact with the granulate are made entirely of stainless steel. Furthermore, these quick couplings function without seals that could touch the pellet flow. These couplings are self-centring, can be operated with only one hand and have no clamping points. In this way, the handling of these pipe-hose connectors is not only particularly easy but also very safe. The risk of accidents at work due to clamping or crushing at the coupling points is thus greatly reduced.
Quick couplings from Digicolor are designed to be extremely space-saving and enable industrial-grade connection of pellet conveying pipes with pellet conveying hoses in granulate supply systems. Furthermore, these couplings can be used wherever mechanical connecting pieces for granulate conveying have to be connected to conveying hoses. Examples are material separators, conveying devices, suction boxes as well as suction connections on bulk material containers or granulate containers.
