Machine Hoppers

Machine hoppers, also called maintenance hoppers, with their mounting flanges are the direct interface between the granulate conveying system and injection moulding machines or extruders. These Digicolor products are made entirely of stainless steel to ensure that granules only come into contact with stainless steel surfaces here.

Digicolor machine hoppers are available in insulated or non-insulated versions. While uninsulated hoppers are usually sufficient for undried materials, insulated hoppers should definitely be used for dried granulates.

Furthermore these core components of each feeding system are very robust due to their stainless steel construction with a stable machine flange. Some variants are designed to be hinged to facilitate cleaning and maintenance work on this system component. Matching material receivers are available for each size of hopper, which can be set up directly in just a few steps.

Digicolor maintenance hoppers are available in different sizes and designs from 0,5 litres to 50 litres. All hoppers can generally be used instead of the original machine hopper. The advantage is that there is then direct compatibility with the granulate conveying system and unwanted steel hoppers are replaced by stainless steel hoppers.

Digicolor hoppers and material receivers belong closely together in conveying systems, as they are directly connected to each other when installed on the processing machine.
