Single-Phase Conveyors

Compact and price-effective granulate conveyors

In addition to complex pellet supply systems and compact conveying systems, Digicolor offers single-phase conveyors. These are used to supply a conveying point with granules over a short distance. This conveying point can be assigned to the machine hopper above the infeed of the processing machine or to a dosing hopper of a volumetric dosing unit or a gravimetric batch dosing unit. This type of granulate conveying technology is inexpensive and can be installed or converted quickly.

Single conveying units are designed to be extremely space-saving and practically correspond to a material or conveyor separator with integrated suction motor. All surfaces of the Digicolor single conveying units that come into contact with plastic granules are made entirely of stainless steel. The blower head of the single conveying unit is sound-insulated and positioned above the granulate suction nozzle. Digicolor offers two different sizes of such single conveying units.

Conveyor F-30-P
- Single conveyor with approx. 3 liters volume
- Power supply: 230 V, 50 Hz
Conveyor F-80-P
- Single conveyor with approx. 8 liters volume
- Power supply: 230 V, 50 Hz

Digicolor single conveying units are ideally used where a solution for supplying granules to an injection molding machine, an extruder or a metering unit is to be realized without high planning and installation costs. The single-phase, single-conveyor unit gets by with a 230V connection. With the integrated control system, the required conveying times can be set and optimized.

The use of a single conveying unit makes sense wherever central granulate supply systems no longer offer free conveying points. Furthermore, this solution comes into question when piping to a central conveying system would be too costly or a simple solution for feeding a conveying point is required. With the brand new Digicolor conveyor control system, old single-phase conveyors can be converted or modernised.
