Technology development

The development of new products and solutions is at the heart of our company. This is how we shape the processing of tomorrow – taking into account new materials and the challenges of digitalization in the industry. The Digicolor Technology Center offers extensive opportunities to develop and test new technologies in the field of pellet processing. As member of the digitalization network it’s OWL, an association of over 200 companies and research institutions, we are actively shaping the digital transformation in industry.

Testing

In our spacious exhibition area for Digicolor products inside the technology Center, equipment and facilities for application trials are available. These include drying trials and metering trials with new materials as well as masterbatch types. In the area of plastics recycling, grinding trials are carried out to define the optimum granulation technology. In our laboratory, among other things, moisture meters are used that are certified within the scope of ISO 15512 (Plastics – Determination of water content). The latest measurement methods of inline moisture measurement technology and dew point measurements complete the scope of services.

Trainings & Seminars

Individual training courses and seminars are a mainstay of our technical center activities. The seminar program includes training courses in the fields of granulate drying, moisture measurement technology, dosing technology, granulate conveying technology, size reduction technology and process visualization. In addition, specialist training courses covering the application details of processes, machines or equipment as well as quality improvements in plastics processing are available.
