Containers for plastic granules with 180 or 300 litres

Digicolor offers a wide range of bulk containers. All components and surfaces of Digicolor’s C-180 and C-300 containers that come into contact with granules are made of stainless steel.

This container size is particularly suitable for stocking medium quantities of granules. With a footprint of 665 mm x 650 mm, these stainless steel containers can be placed in almost any processing plant.

One or more suction nozzles with a connection diameter of 40 mm or 50 mm can be installed at the granulate outlet of the stainless steel container. These nozzles allow easy connection of a granulate conveying system or single conveying device. The automatic feeding of the metering hoppers or material separators or machine hoppers on the processing machine then takes place via this connection spigot.

An optional stainless steel filling grid supports the user in depositing or discharging granulate containers such as bags or granulate sacks on the container. The container is easily locked by means of a hinged lid. Optionally, these containers can be equipped with an adaptation for a conveyor for automatic filling.

Digicolor containers of sizes C-180 and C-300 are suitable for setting up granulate supply logistics in plastics processing plants. Together with granulate conveyor systems, central material supply systems for injection molding or extrusion plants can be realized. In addition, these material containers are used to store virgin and recycled granules near gravimetric metering systems. Suitable granulate conveying stations or conveying devices are then used to feed these metering stations before the finished granulate mixtures are transported to the processing machines.
