Material receivers represent the link between the granulate conveying system and the downstream process, in particular granulate drying, metering technology and the processing machine. Digicolor separators are made of stainless steel. The control part of the separator links the separator signals to the switching valves for vacuum conveying, the so-called air valves. Digicolor separators can be combined in a modular system with the matching machine hoppers, drying hoppers, dosing hoppers, and bulk material containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Material receivers from Digicolor are very robust due to the fully stainless steel housing. The upper cover of the separator is designed to be hinged to facilitate cleaning and maintenance work on this system component. All nozzles for the connections of the vacuum lines as well as the granulate supply lines are interchangeable. On the one hand, this serves to realize different connection diameters. On the other hand, in the event of wear, the connecting piece can simply be replaced without having to replace the entire separator housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Material receivers are available in different sizes and designs from 0.5 liter volume to 100 liter volume. These separators can be integrated into a wide variety of conveying systems – from smaller compact conveying systems to large, central granulate conveying systems. Even existing conveying separators from past product generations can be connected to the modern bus controls of Digicolor’s granulate conveying technology either without or with only a few adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If abrasive granulates are processed, as is the case with glass fiber-reinforced plastics, for example, material separators from Digicolor can be equipped or retrofitted with wear protection components as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
